Two half hour programmes for BBC1 in which we explore twelve tastes associated with Christmas, from marzipan and nuts to ginger and the Christmas goose. First shown on Friday December 14 and 21st at 7.30.
For this Christmas Special, Nigel celebrates the twelve 'tastes of Christmas' that mean the most to him including Goose, Ginger, Nuts, Marzipan, Mincemeat and Chocolate and prepares some of his favourite festive recipes. He travels to Norway to choose the Christmas Tree for Trafalgar Square, sees it felled and then joins the celebrations as it is lit for Christmas in the Square.
